Fire & Ice

After a day on the slopes with skis and boards, Team Alpine decided to conquer the slopes in a new way- Sledging! (Not to be confused with sledding)  This exhilarating leisure activity is a great way to exercise all while laughing at your friends and scaring the b’jesus out of you.

Sledging almost down to Grindelwald, then back up for a race down back to Wengen, Team Alpine survived the not so beginner (crash) course by laughing all the way down. Last one buys a round of schnapps.

Upon our return, we were surprised by our host and new Wengen best friend Oliver, when he informed us of a special treat. Our dinner this evening was off the grid, in a rustic lumberjack cabin.

On the way up, we encountered a local farmer who was just finished milking his cows. The cows here eat only the freshest local grass and herbs that ultimately produce the finest milk around.

While most sampled the warm unpasteurized, the homemade schnapps was preferred.

Again, as you can see, the Swiss really know how to eat.

On the torchlight return back to Wengen, we were warmed by some of the best local schnapps and songs of old.

Team Alpine specialist prepare experiences that create lifelong memories.
